	Amanda and Joy Griffiths are from Auckland, New Zealands largest city,also known as the city of sails.They are a daughter and mother team who work together creating these bears for your enjoyment.
Amanda is the creative one who designs all the bears, patterns and kitsets you can see on this page. It all began as occupational therapy when she was in hospital a few years ago. Amanda prefers working with mohair and designs bears from mini to magnificent. She also works on the faces of these bears which magically brings them to life.	Goldie
Lazy Bones	Joy, Amanda's mother, swore she would never make a bear. How many times has that been said? She was much more interested in embroidery and cross stitch. Well, you know the story, one bear and she was hooked. Joy thought she'd surprise Amanda and make a bear. It certainly was a surprise, especially when the bear was a 3" mini ! Joy assists with the handstitching.
